Who is Upcare?

Upcare is a disability service provider. Upcare works to empower people with disabilities to make decisions that enhance their well-being and help them lead meaningful lives. Upcare delivers a range of support services to support our clients’ in their daily living and lifestyle choices, as well as with community events and their special interests. Upcare is also a registered National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provider.

What fees does Upcare charge?

Upcare fees correspond to the fee structure laid down in the guidelines of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). These fees are updated regularly, and an establishment fee may be charged to new NDIS customers. Further information on the NDIS fee structure can be found at www.ndis.gov.au. Upcare understands that many community members are not entitled to state-funded services or will need more support than their funding can provide. Therefore, we also offer services to private paying customers.

What Support do you offer?
Upcare offers a range of support services to help people with disabilities, including:

Every-day Living Support.
Upcare offers individually tailored support to assist you to live the life you want – at home, school, work, and in the community. This support is available 7-days-a-week.

Managing a healthy Lifestyle.
Upcare will work with you one-on-one or as part of a group, to assist you in building and maintaining a happy and healthy lifestyle. We will support you in all your activities to assist you to meet and exceed your goals.

Community and Social Activities.
Upcare understands how important it is to forge community and social connections. We endeavour to aid you in finding events and activities suited to your interests – and some that will encourage you to step beyond your comfort zone, to become active members of your community.

Special Interests and hobbies.
At Upcare, we believe in having fun! If you have a special interest or hobby, let us know! We will find a way to incorporate this into your package.

How do I engage a Support Worker?

There are a few ways to do this – one is by registering for an account on our website and selecting an appointment availability via the online booking system.
You can also call us directly on 1800 953 800 to discuss your requirements with our reception staff. You can also arrange to meet us to discuss your care needs and requirements face to face. If you require the use of a translator – please let us know and we can arrange this.

How does the payment process work?
Upwork does not oversee funds remaining in participants NDIS package. It is advisable that you keep a regular check on the balance to ensure you have funds to cover continuing services.
Invoices and claims are processed weekly.
Please note – services cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice are still invoiced.
