Their role is to implement the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), which will help hundreds of thousands of Australians living with significant and permanent disabilities and their families and caregivers to live a better life.

Immediately contact UpCare if an incident happens with a client. If the incident is serious, call 000 first.

You must complete an online form within 48 hours of the incident occurring. Our Operations Manager will then provide you further information.

Local Care Coordinators (LAC’s)

The Local Area Coordinator (LAC) is responsible for helping people navigate through NDIS. They can help people with disabilities plan and coordinate to maximise the choice and control of their services. This includes helping disabled people navigate mainstream services and enhancing their ability to play an active role in their community.
